Build Confidence with a Boudoir Photoshoot

I've been a professional photographer for over 18 years, the last 10 specializing in boudoir. In an industry where women are often objectified, I see it as my job to flip the script and make women feel comfortable in front of the camera -- empowered, sexy, and really themselves.

Confidence Builds Boudoir

I've sat on both sides of the lens and I get it. It's no surprise that confidence was one of the top themes from recent clients who expressed interest in working with me again. To hear from clients why they sought a boudoir session. I was surprised to hear confidence come up again and again in the same breath as empowerment.

When confidence becomes part of the conversation, I feel like we've reached a tipping point in how women are seeing themselves. To empower means to give strength or power; confidence is defined as belief in one's own powers or abilities.

Although boudoir is an empowering act for me, I can't speak for every woman who chooses to work with me - but what I suspect speaks volumes is that confidence continues to be #1 on both my survey and within emails/phone calls from recent clients.

No matter what confidence feels like for you today - it's important to remember confidence is fluid because life happens.

I've had clients who started out feeling confident in their own skin and then find themselves in a transitional period (like moving, divorce, new job) where they question everything about themselves.

I've also had clients who arrive to their photo session feeling like they need a boost of confidence and leave with a self-esteem that's off the charts.

So how do we get you what you want? I know where your heart is which is why we will discover together what it looks like for you feel confident, empowered and sexy in front of my lens. We will talk about what boudoir means to you and pairing that with wardrobe choices/poses/lighting -- all while having fun!
