I’ve always been very critical and self conscious of my body; especially after 3 babies. I wanted to feel sexy and do something unexpected for my husband as an anniversary surprise. I’d been following boudoirs for a long time and always thought some day. I jumped to it one day and set up a phone call, booked and completed my shoot. It was AMAZING! As a boudoir photographer in Sioux Falls, one of the questions I get asked most often is, “what should I wear to my shoot”?

I had been wanting to schedule a boudoir session for several months. I had been looking at several photographers and Shalista’s photos really stood out. The day of the session I was definitely nervous. The hair and makeup was beautiful and Shalista made me feel so comfortable throughout the session. Choosing to do a second shoot with Shalista was a no brainer for me. Shalista was amazing to work with. The entire session was like you were old friends just enjoying another day of regular pictures. She had me so comfortable I had the courage to do pictures with the white sheets and a wet tank. I was so nervous for the reveal, I had no idea what to expect. When she started playing the slideshow all I could do was cry. This wasn't me! The pictures were absolutely amazing.
